Well due to popular demand the feet have arrived.
DO NOT open if you are of a nervous disposition. I cannot be blamed for the consequenses.
Those who have been following the saga of my big toe will be pleased to hear that the other one fell off the other day, as I was pulling a plaster off it to be exact.
Now I am left with a couple of half grown toe nails that look a little pathetic.
Bye Bye nails. I'll miss you guys...
A part of me will always stay in Manila.
The nail from my left big toe to be exact. It finally left me as I got out of a cab and dropped my rucksack onto my flip-flopped foot outside the 'Friendly' hostel (which it was) So there you have it. One down, one to go. You don't want to see a picture, whats left is not pretty.
Jez:- of the deformed foot
For a while anyway...
I've put a few more posts up to show you what we got up to before Christmas.
The sadists amongst you (and statistically there is at least one!) will be happy to hear by the way, that since our jungle trek in Borneo both my big toe nails have turned a worrying shade of black. The right nail is due to drop off very soon, the left has a bit more staying power. I think it might be a few more weeks yet.
I'll put some pictures up if you want to have a look!
Smiles and silk, rice paddies, tuk tuk's, green curries, heat and humidity, temples, wats, noodles and rice, mozzies, islands and beaches, long tailed boats and fried insects.
